The Signs of Change National e-Conference is a national conversation showcasing the signs of change, no matter how small. The conference is not an academic talk fest. Businesses from all fields, Transition Town groups, Farmers, Faith Organisations and Experts are giving evidence of a path other than business as usual.

The amazing point of difference for this national conference is that it will be held locally and experienced globally. Participants will travel to their nearest university around New Zealand, and the venues will be connected electronically via new technology. A research project is being undertaken to characterise the effectiveness of this conference and the energy saved in travel. The cost is being kept to an absolute minimum so that all may participate.
