Dr. Ana Prados is a Research Assistant Professor at the Joint Center for Earth Systems Technology, University of Maryland Baltimore County. She has a Ph.D in Chemistry and is also currently a candidate in Public Policy at the University of Maryland, College Park. Her main research expertise is the application NASA imagery for monitoring air pollution in the U.S. Dr. Prados also currently coordinates and conducts remote sensing technical workshops and capacity building activities for the NASA Applied Sciences Program, where she teaches the application of satellite imagery to environmental decision-making activities, with a focus on water resources and air quality.
