Denis White is a retired geographer formerly with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in Corvallis, Oregon, and Harvard University. He specializes in the use of geographical information systems to analyze human impacts on the environment, and has contributed to numerous community- and regional-scale alternative-futures assessments during the past 30 years, including the Willamette Futures project.
