James Aronson is a restoration ecologist at the Center of Functional and Evolutionary Ecology of the government research network in Montpellier, France, and coordinator of the RNC Alliance, based at the Missouri Botanical Garden. For 25 years, he has worked in projects and programs related to the restoration and rehabilitation of degraded ecosystems in many parts of the world. He has published extensively on restoration, sustainability, and related subjects.
