Long-time Canadian futures researcher with a non-trivial interest in the long evolution of human consciousness, cultures and forms of civilization. My research suggests: (1) there is no future in any of the present forms of civilization, as such, due to the changes unwittingly brought about by the emergence of the modern/Industrial for of civilization; (2) the only hope for humanity is to learn to cooperate with our own evolution as homo sapiens at every scale from persons to our form of civilization, i.e. a new form of civilization is required if we are to be able to deal with the emerging conditions and requirements of the 21st Century.
