BiographyDr. Roman is a fellow at the Gund Institute for Ecological Economics and a research associate at the New England Aquarium. He is a conservation biologist with research interests in biodiversity and ecosystem services, biological invasions, and marine population genetics and ecology. He has written dozens of articles and several books, including his most recent one, the cultural history Whale. He is currently working on a book about the benefits of endangered species conservation.
