Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, I have a varied educational history reflecting my passions, from a masters in transpersonal psychology which focused on the spiritual roots of the emerging ecological paradigm (1991) to a bachelors in conservation and resources from UC Berkeley, focusing on both environmental ethics and rural development (1988).
