Chikunov, Alexander. Born in Krasnoyarsk, USSR, in 1963. In 1985 received a degree in Economics from Novosibirsk State University. During 2002-08, years of the Russian electricity sector reform, worked as a top manager for Russia’s largest energy (electricity and heat) company “RAO UES”. At the end of 2008 realized that he wanted to live “to make the World (and the Future) better”. Meadows’ “The Limits to Growth”, focused on the question “Is it possible and how to prevent the global catastrophe?” In 2011 co-founded “Institute of World Ideas” to find answers, prepare “the action plan” for the business and government and become “a bridge” between thinkers and decision makers.
