Alexander Müller is the Managing Director of TMG – ThinkTank for Sustainability in Berlin/Germany. He was Study Leader of “The Economics of Ecosystems and Biodiversity for Agriculture and Food (TEEBAgriFood)” hosted by UN Environment. From 2006 to 2013 he served as Assistant Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), during this time he was Member of Advisory Group of UNSG Ban Ki-Moon on Energy and Climate Change (AGECC) and Chair of UN Standing Committee on Nutrition.
From 2000 to 2006 he served as State Secretary in the German Ministry for Consumer Protection, Food and Agriculture.
