Alexis Winter is a master’s candidate in the Applied Anthropology department at University of South Florida and the Editorial Assistant for the Journal of Ecological Anthropology. In the past she has worked for The Field Museum’s division of Environment, Culture, and Conservation and the University of Illinois at Chicago on projects that build on social assets to address environmental problems.
