Ashley is a Research Analyst for the Water RAPIDS (Water Research and Planning Innovations for Dryland Systems) program at the University of Arizona Water Resources Research Center. Along with working on Conserve2Enhance programs throughout Arizona, Ashley’s experience ranges from scenario planning to creating water budgets for local communities and natural systems. Engaging stakeholders in meaningful conversations around water remains key to Ashley’s work, including a multi-year watershed planning effort in the Upper Gila River. Originally from Kansas, living in the Sonoran Desert has anchored her strong commitment to cultivating unique solutions to meet the complex issues surrounding water in the West. Ashley holds a M.S. in Urban Planning, with a concentration in Water Resources, from the University of Arizona.
