Bernard Lietaer is author of The Future of Money (2001), which has been translated into 18 languages. He is coauthor of Creating Wealth (2011) and of the forthcoming New Currencies for a New World. He has been active in the domain of money systems for a period of 25 years in an unusual variety of functions, including at a central bank, at universities as professor of international finance, as president of the most cost-effective national electronic payment system in the world, and as a currency trader.
