Bryan Bell’s work is focused on public interest design, which he researched as a Harvard Loeb Fellow in 2010-11. After the fellowship, Bell cofounded the Public Interest Design Institute which provides training in this emerging field. He has published two books on the subject including Expanding Architecture: Design as Activism with Metropolis Books.
