Donal Malone conducts research on urban redevelopment and its impact on local neighborhoods and residents. His work focuses on how redevelopment can revitalize urban neighborhoods in a sustainable way without displacing residents. Worker cooperatives may play a key role in this process. He has teaches sociology and urban studies courses at Saint Peter’s University in Jersey City.
