John Bolte is professor and head of the biological and ecological engineering department at Oregon State University. He has been active in ecosystem analysis, modeling, and the development of alternative-futures methods for projecting landscape change for the last 25 years. He is the lead developer of Envision, a modeling tool for projecting and assessing alternative-landscape futures.
