John-Francis Lane is a conservationist, educator and passionate outdoorsperson. He has worked
with Parks Canada as a Heritage Interpreter for the past decade and is currently pursuing a
Master’s in conservation science at Carleton University. He has also worked as an outdoor guide
and experiential educator across Canada and in multiple contexts, from cycling to dogsledding to
leading youth science camps. His passion lies in being outdoors and sharing the natural world
with anyone and everyone.
