Nitika Pai is an assistant professor in the Department of Medicine at McGill University. She focuses her work on improving the health of vulnerable populations, in particular pregnant women and children, sexually transmitted disease clinic attendees, immigrants, incarcerated people, and students. Pai won a 2013 ASAP Award, sponsored by Google, the Wellcome Trust, and the Public Library of Science, for her HIV self-test kits.
