Peter Danssaert has worked with the International Peace Information Service for almost a decade. He focuses on all matters related to the arms trade, both legal (including the practice of manufacturing licenses in third countries) as well as illegal trafficking, and on the diamond trade (trade networks). In 2006 he was Aviation Consultant for the UN Panel of Experts in the Democratic Republic of Congo. One of his recent assignments was arms expert for the UN Group of Experts on the Democratic Republic of Congo (2008).
