Poul Erik Morthorst is senior research specialist at the Risø National Laboratory for Sustainable Energy, Technical University of Denmark, where he works in the Systems Analyses Division. His main research areas include economic and technical assessment of renewable energy technologies; evaluation of policy instruments for regulating energy and environment; and development of long-term scenarios for energy and environmental systems. He is chairman of the Danish Research Council’s program committee on sustainable energy and environment.
